A short-lived member of the British Section of the SI (eventually the whole group was excluded), Nicholson-Smith was one of the earliest translators of the SI into English. He continues to work on SI translations, though has been faulted by some because the resultant texts (re-translated version of The Society of the Spectacle were published in expensive volumes, and without the freedom of copyright set forth in the spirit of the SI texts. |
