Revitalization in Revolting Times

Social Anarchism is a scholarly journal founded in 1985 by Howard Ehrlich, a sociologist and life-long anarchist previously involved in the Great Atlantic Radio Conspiracy in the 70s and 80s. a.h.s boy joined the editorial staff in the mid-1990s, and helped assemble and publish the anthology The Best of Social Anarchism (See Sharp Press) containing curated pieces from the history of the magazine. Howard passed away in 2015, Social Anarchism had never fully embraced the transition to digital publishing and social media, and this site languished for many years.

There is now a concerted effort to revitalize this website, publish all existing issues online, and develop a strategy for bringing Social Anarchism back to participate in the donnybrook we call modern society in the digital age. If you'd like to help, please get in touch!
